How to Import Bookmarks from Chrome, Firefox, and Safari into MyLinks.pk

A step-by-step guide to exporting bookmarks from every major browser and importing them into MyLinks.pk in under 2 minutes.

Export from Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and press Ctrl+Shift+O (or Cmd+Option+B on Mac) to open the Bookmark Manager.
  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the top right of the Bookmark Manager.
  3. Select Export bookmarks.
  4. Save the file as bookmarks.html anywhere on your computer.

Export from Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the Library button (the book icon) in the toolbar.
  2. Select Bookmarks → Manage Bookmarks.
  3. In the Library window, click Import and Backup → Export Bookmarks to HTML.
  4. Save the HTML file.

Export from Apple Safari

  1. Open Safari on your Mac.
  2. In the menu bar, go to File → Export Bookmarks.
  3. Save the resulting HTML file.

Export from Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three-dot menu (…) in Edge.
  2. Go to Favorites → Manage Favorites.
  3. Click the three-dot menu inside the Favorites panel and choose Export favorites.
  4. Save as HTML.

Import into MyLinks.pk

  1. Log in to your MyLinks.pk account.
  2. Go to Import in the navigation bar.
  3. Click Choose File and select the HTML file you exported.
  4. Click Import Bookmarks.
  5. All your bookmarks will appear in your account immediately, ready to categorize.

After importing, visit My Bookmarks and look for the Uncategorized section. Take a few minutes to assign categories — it will make searching much faster.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will importing overwrite my existing MyLinks.pk bookmarks?
No. Importing adds new bookmarks alongside your existing ones. Duplicate URLs are skipped automatically so you won't end up with doubled entries.
What if my import file is very large?
MyLinks.pk handles large bookmark files well. If you have thousands of bookmarks, the import may take a few extra seconds, but all links will be saved successfully.
