Accessing Your Profile Settings
Your profile settings are always one click away from the navigation bar. When logged in, click ⚙ Profile in the top menu to reach your account management page. It's divided into three tabs: Profile Info, Password, and Danger Zone.
Changing Your Display Name
On the Profile Info tab, you'll see your current display name pre-filled in the Name field. Update it and click Save Changes. Your name updates immediately across your dashboard and any public-facing areas of your account.
Updating Your Email Address
Email changes are treated as sensitive operations. To update your email, scroll down to the Change Email Address section on the Profile Info tab. Enter your new email and your current password to confirm the change. This two-step verification prevents unauthorised email changes.
Note: after changing your email, use the new address on your next login.
Changing Your Password
Click the Password tab in your profile settings. You'll need your current password, then your new password twice to confirm. MyLinks.pk requires a minimum of 6 characters — we recommend at least 12 with a mix of letters, numbers and symbols.
After a successful change, a confirmation email is sent to your registered address as a security notification.
Account Security Tips
- Use a unique password you don't use on other sites.
- If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password immediately.
- Keep your registered email address current so you can always recover your account.
- Log out of shared or public devices after use.
